そこでMPLAB X IDEとCコンパイラのXC8をインストールしてみたが、最初にインストールしたPCは、Cドライブの容量が小さい為、Dドライブにフォルダを作ってそこにインストールしたところ、MPLAB X IDEとXC8を両方共にインストールしているのにも関わらず、MPLAB X IDEを起動すると毎回「コンパイラが見つからない」の様な以下のダイアログが表示されてしまう。
