米Microsoftは9月5日（現地時間）、今年10月にリリース予定の「Office 2024」でActiveXをデフォルト無効とすると発表した。現在はActiveXコントロールを有効化する前に確認するという設定が既定だが、変更後は通知なしにすべてのコントロールが無効化される。
