“Was @paulodiaz117 the first skater on the @adidasskateboarding skate team? Yeah somehow Paulo Diaz got hooked up with someone at adidas. I’m not sure how but if you remember he had an adidas ad, in 1996-1997. It was a 2 page ad of a trick on a picnic table. It was random but not that bad considering they didn’t know anything about skateboarding. Fast forward 2-3 years later and they’re trying to get involved in it and Paulo got grandfathered on to the team. He could still skate a lot back then
